In 2020, Editora Ática, a renowned Brazilian publisher, republished some classics of world literature with full texts, and I was invited to make the illustrations for one of them, a classic that Jules Vernes launched in 1873.

Around the World in 80 Days

In addition to the covers, dust wrapper and other decorative elements, I created 5 illustrations for the inside pages, illustrating passages from the adventures of Phileas Fogg and Jean Passepartout.

Due to the quarantine, the project took longer than expected to be launched, something around 80 days longer 🙂
